Will you be at MJBiz next month? I mean… are you descending on Las Vegas with the rest of the international cannabis industry for a week of networking, product showcasing, and the occasional toe dip into the expo itself!
If so, we should totally meet – esp. if you’re keen to chat about content marketing, creativity, and – of course – cannabis!
Our very own Dave Barton is gonna be there 27th November to 2 December.
If you’re looking at new and engaging ways to build out your brand, better engage new and existing customers, or just want to dominate your own corner of the international cannabis sector – and believe that marketing is mission critical (spoiler: it is!), then hit him up ASAP – dave.barton@thermidor.wtf
He might even buy you a coffee(!). Anyhoo – on to today’s news round up y’all!
Last week marked five whole years since the great nation of Canada legalised recreational cannabis. But what lessons have been learned along the way? This short but poignant piece tells all you need to know.
UK legislators could soon make it easier for doctors to prescribe medical cannabis. Recommendation from the country's Cannabis Industry Council (CIC) proposes that a few small tweaks to existing laws would make it possible for GPs to issue patients with cannabis via the NHS. Watch this space.
When one of the most right-wing institutions in America starts actively lobbying for cannabis banking, you know the tide’s officially turning. And, according to reports, that’s exactly what’s happening.
The Australian state of Victoria has always been forward-thinking when it comes to cannabis. The first state to legalise medical cannabis in 2016, a new trial is set to take place – allowing medical cannabis users to drive.
We all know that cannabis has been used for, oh, thousands of years (!). But this piece looks specifically at how inhalation has played a part in different religious and spiritual rituals.
He’ll smack you down, steal your girl, and (now) sell you weed. Yup, WWE sensation ‘Nature Boy’ Ric Flair is up and running with his ‘Ric Flair Drip’ cannabis line. But will it make you look good, smell good, and dance all night? ‘WOOO!’ better believe it(!)
