Gahd. It’s tough being international cannabis commentators… but – in the (appropriated and slightly altered) words of Vin Diesel’s XXX – “WE LIVE FOR THIS!!”
Yup, both Dave and Jamie will be at Lift in Toronto at the start of June. Our plan? Figure out where Canada’s at five years post-legalisation (and obvs to make new friends/business contacts). We’re speaking ON THE FRICKIN STAGE too (eek!).
Heading thurr also? Hit us up (it’ll be fun – promise).
In the meantime… oh would you look at that! We made another video(!).

The US state of Maryland has officially legalized cannabis. Chalk up another W cannabis fam! And with legal sales set to start on July 4th, Independence Day’s surely gonna be more lit than usual.
Ever been to a grow opp? We’ve never set foot in a legal facility – someone invite us already! – so this piece from Vice shines a brilliant light on just how much work goes into producing the legal bud we all know and love.
After more than two years of planning, Moroccan farmers are now legally cultivating cannabis. In efforts to combat the legacy market, the government has given seeds to farmers throughout the northern provinces. Nice job we reckon.
Last, but absolutely not least, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D) has signed a state proposal to let licensed cannabis companies deduct management-related business expenses from their taxes. This is unbelievably important news – which other US states should take serious note of – go read more.
