AskMyStreet is an app you might not be familiar with. To fill you in it’s an app designed to notify users when there are power cuts and it’s pretty popular in South Africa. It is however quickly transforming into a place for gig workers to find jobs, and for some – a place to sell weed.

Superb Appointments

Volteface and The Medical Cannabis Clinicians Society (MCCS) have been appointed as the new secretariat for the UK’s medical cannabis All-Party Parliamentary Group. Without trying to really explain what this means for those outside the UK, basically, we have way better representation where it counts.

The Tipping Point?

In what could well be a pretty monumental piece of precedent-setting, the NHS (National Health Service) in the UK has reimbursed a patient for their prescription of cannabis flower. Could this be the inflection point for medical cannabis in the UK? We certainly hope so(!).
