Jeepers creepers, it’s officially the spookiest day of the year. Dressing up...

Jeepers creepers, it’s officially the spookiest day of the year. Dressing up, eating sweets, partying like it’s not the end of October – all great ideas, and we’re here for it. Oddly we don’t have any actual Halloween themed cannabis news for you this week – frightful, I know(!).

But, what we do have a rather sweet quote from a person who has torn up stages in every corner of the globe, and has, without a shadow of a doubt, carved out a very big legacy in rock and roll history.

“I occasionally borrow pot from my kids. They do a little weed occasionally. ‘Here Dad’ – or more likely, ‘Dad, have you got any?”

Keith Richards

East Meets West

Cannabis has been used for rather a long time, and perhaps unsurprisingly some of the first pioneers of the plant were the Chinese – who saw its medical benefits firshand. Thousands of years later we’re still fighting for legal medical cannabis in lots of places which seems pretty mad.

Groovy German Moves

Further developments in Germany this past week – and ones that seem to be happening at lightspeed for politics, at least. Most of the ‘leaked’ suggestions have now been adjusted to make them more palatable for the industry but the big question still stands – when will it be legal?

Copy, Right?

We won’t pretend to understand in any technical way the science behind cloning, but it is most definitely a fascinating subject. BioHarvest Sciences, based in Israel, have been cloning hemp cultures with some pretty impressive results.

My Kinda Christmas Market

Another wonderful sign of real world adoption of cannabis. When it makes its way into popular pastimes and accepted activities for the wider populace, you know it’s gaining ground. In this case, Toronto is putting on a cannabis friendly Christmas market.

That's A Big Question

Do you feel more creative after consuming cannabis? A lot of people claim to, and frankly, we believe them. But what do wider studies find and what is the reason we are able to feel so ‘in the groove’ after a couple hearty puffs?

Keep Banging The Drum

The revolving door of British politics. While frustrating on many levels, it does offer potential from a cannabis perspective. Namely, that there is a new PM to push the legal cannabis agenda toward, in this case, the fight for hemp and all the good it can do.
