Why do people consume cannabis? Medical benefits aside (just for a second) – let’s be honest, we want to get high. Though the uneducated may sneer at the idea; what does being ‘high’ actually mean?
Is it the deep introspection experienced when viewing the world in an augmented state? Is it the heightened awareness of our surroundings – the suddenly noticeable ceiling textures or the musicality stemming from a dripping tap? Or could it be the fuzzy, chuckle-laden drowsiness that warms the very core of our being?
It may well be all of the above: and much more. So tell us: what does ‘high’ mean to you? Answers on email (say if you want to be anon.) to dave.barton@thermidor.wtf – be grand to put some of these in an upcoming post!

Love it when cannabis proves the haters wrong – which it does (frequently). Hyperbole that dispensaries are selling to the underage crowd has been countered by new research out of California. Researchers sent young-looking consumers to some 50 dispensaries (picked at random) across the state. All passed the ’request for I.D.’ test with flying colours.
