Lots of UK bits this week but this announcement is actually very important. The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has set up a drug commission to investigate the effects of decriminalisation. Naturally, the political sphere has banded against or at least distanced itself from the idea but it is genuine progress.

Living Rent Free

The shift in Thailand's cannabis outlook in the past few years is quite staggering. This week, ahead of cultivation legalization in June, Thailand’s Public Health Minister has made plans to give away up to 1 million cannabis plants – talk about giving back(!).

Power Couple

Lots of movement in the African cannabis scene at the moment. A big sign-off in Zimbabwe this week with the president, Emmerson Mnangagwa, commissioning a farm worth $27 million that will be handled by Swiss Bioceuticals. It also helps firm up Swiss investment in the future which is big for Zimbabwe as they pivot away from tobacco.
