Apols for the delay, thermidorks! But as you can see we have a whole new email format

Apols for the delay, thermidorks! But as you can see we have a whole new email format for your visual delectation. Plus we’re moving our blogs to the all new thermidor< website. Enjoy ;)

Now, we bang on about legalization quite a bit – but just think: at this very moment in time thousands of people sit in cells around the world for possessing cannabis. A drug that in many places is not only legal for medical consumption but also for recreational use. Madness

“Don’t do drugs, because if you do drugs you’ll go to prison, and drugs are really expensive in prison.” John Hardwick

Tourettes Breakthrough?

As Israeli study of 18 Tourettes sufferers has found that after 4 weeks of cannabis treatment there was a tic reduction of 32.8% – climbing all the way to 38% – after 12 weeks. Although a small, early-phase study, it goes to show that we haven’t scratched the surface of our favorite wonder plant yet.

Hair Conditioner

We’d tell you to keep your wig on but to be fair this is a pretty big break from tradition. For hundreds of years, lawyers in the UK have used horsehair wigs for… well to be fair we don’t really know. But now, there is a hemp alternative – marvelous(!).

Time Served

This excellent blog from MJBizDaily covers the ways a cannabis business can work harder to hire cannabis workers with criminal records. Second chances are earned and if someone has served a sentence and they are keen to work – don’t hold it against them.

‘Ear He Is

The classic image of Big Mike biting the ear of Evander Holyfield is a sporting classic. Further pushing the Tyson brand, Mike has launched ear-shaped edibles as part of a new range. It’s pretty gross but great marketing all the same.

Q&A

Senior VP for Retail at Curaleaf, Talley Wettlaufer, shines a light on working in the cannabis industry and what it’s really like for an insider. Also, she makes comments on some interesting shifts in consumer education and behavior that get us thinking about how far the market has come.

Scratch That

Although rare, there are people who suffer from cannabis allergies. These sufferers can have reactions to just touching the plant. Thankfully, there are ways to manage the minor symptoms but next time you roll up just count yourself lucky.
