We always aim to bring you interesting strains – whether they’ve had the attention they deserve or not. This week is a doozy, with a real smorgasbord of potential spliffs to smoke. We know you’re busy so let’s roll right into it!

Frisian Duck

This one is an absolute quacker, with a Dutch pedigree from Frisian Dew and Duckfoot this certainly takes to water easily. Most notable is its striking appearance which sets it apart from any other strain on the planet. With leaves that stay webbed up until flowering, you can spot it from a mile away.

A hardy plant that can bloom outdoor in a north European winter, both new and experienced growers love its quick, predictable yields. It isn’t going to do any heavy lifting when it comes to THC but then again, not every smoke needs to make you a sitting duck.

Maui Wowie

This citrusy beaut, sometimes called Maui Waui, hails from Hawaii and comes brimming with a wonderful scent of the island state. A fruity number that’s as well equipped as a day smoke as it is with the medicinal crowd and the smoke brings a buzzed, euphoric high, ready to lift your spirits.

Smokers rave about the taste, so Maui is definitely best smoked, rather than turned edible, and then the rich, pineapple tang that hits those taste buds is sure to impress. With a wide range of strengths, from 20% THC all the way up to 28%, say “aloha” to a brilliant high.

Aliens on Moonshine

Now, we have no idea what extraterrestrials getting buzzed would actually look like, but it’s fair to say they’d be having a seriously good time. If they took a couple hits of AoM that would take them to a whole other planet.

CBD content should never be overlooked and this strain roundhouses you with 10% of cannabidiol power. A great smoke for those with chronic pain, and a low THC content to keep the high level and calm. Big thumbs up from us and our little green friends.

Dr. Grinspoon

Another Dutch cohort this week with Dr. G, aka Lester Grinspoon, one of the champions of cannabis in the United States in the 60s. A groovy dude he certainly was, and this pure Sativa strain lives up that name.

In terms of raw numbers, there is nothing standout with the G, but it’s perfectly balanced and the deep relaxation that smokers report shows how popular it is for those managing pain or the people just looking for a blissfully stoned feeling.

We’re on the hunt for the best bud you know. Shoot us a message: what rocks, thermidorks?
